APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NO. 1029 - ACCEPTED FOR REVIEW
Dear Mr. Bondre:
By letter dated November 15, 2017, as supplemented February 22, 2018, you submitted an application for amendment four to Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1029 (Docket No. 72-1029). By letter dated January 24, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff requested TN Americas, LLC (TN) provide supplemental information to complete the acceptance review of the application. By letter dated February 22, 2018, TN submitted their responses to the NRC request for supplemental information.
The staff has conducted an acceptance review of the application, as supplemented, and determined that it contains sufficient information to begin a detailed technical review. We have established a schedule for the review and estimated that the staff may need approximately 350 hours0.00405 days <br />0.0972 hours <br />5.787037e-4 weeks <br />1.33175e-4 months <br /> to complete its review. The schedule allows the staff to complete and issue a request for additional information (RAI) in May 2018, and a draft CoC and safety evaluation report for rulemaking by August 2018, based on TN responding to any RAI by June 2018. If no additional information is needed, the draft approval for rulemaking may be issued by July 2018.
