  • 27780 Blue Star Memorial Highway, Covert, Ml 49043 May 5, 1994 Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR~20 - PALISADES PLANT - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS CHANGE REQUEST - SHUTDOWN COOLING - REVISED PAGES Enclosed are eleven revised Shutdown Cooling Technical Specification change request pages. The changes, necessary due to intervening amendments, contain the following differences from those pages submitted on May 19, 1993:
1) The Table of Contents has been changed to correct the title of Figure 3-0, and to update the page number listed for specification 3.1.9.
2) The page numbers of proposed section 3.1.9, Shutdown Cooling, have been changed to follow those new pages issued in Amendment 160.
3) The words "offsite power and" have been added to the last line of paragraph 3.7.3b {page 3-45a) as a clarification.
4) The "Permissible Bypass Condition" column entry for Item 11 of Table 3.17.4 {page 3-81a), has been updated to the Amendment 160 wording.
5) Section 12 of Table 4.2.2 (page 4-15b) has been updated to the wording issued by Amendment 158.
6) An additional change bar has been added to the margin of page 4-88 where a former parenthetical note had been removed but was unmarked.

As mentioned in our May 19, 1993 letter, we request that the associated license amendment become effective no sooner than 90 days after approval, to allow completion of the associated training and procedure changes.

The changes proposed in this letter do not alter the conclusions of the No Significant Hazards Analysis contained in our April 15, 1992 letter on this subject. A copy of this letter has been sent to the State of Michigan.
