1990 Occupational Radiation Exposure The attached table summarizes personnel radiation exposure by job function, workgroup and employer for the year 1990.

The attached table and the method by which it was prepared meet the reporting requirements of Section 6.9.1.b of the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications.

The exposures, derived from Direct Reading Dosimeter (ORD), and Electronic Dosimeter (ED) data, were adjusted by a factor which corrects the ORD/ED exposure so that it is nearly equal to the thermoluminescent dosimeter exposure used in compiling the legal radiation exposure record for each individual. This correction factor is applied to each job function/workgroup/employer category on the attach~d table.

Special maintenance activities for the year 1990 include Steam Generator replacement; refueling equipment upgrade; extensive piping hanger repairs and valve work; ex-vessel dosimetry; Safety Injection and Refueling Water (SIRW) tank and fuel pool heat exchanger repair and Primary Coolant Pump (PCP) lube oil system modification.
