Enclosure 9 Licensee Amendment Request Information Related to Review of Proposed Changes by the State State and Illinois and State of Iowa (Quad Cities only)

Bruce Rauner Governor ILLINOIS EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY January 91 2018 Doug Walker Clinton Power Station Exelon Generation Company, LLC ATIN: License Amendment Request Jennifer Ricker Interim Director The Illinois Emergency Management Agency has completed its initial review of a draft copy of the License Amendment Request (LAR), "Changes to Emergency Plan Staffing." IEMA appreciates the opportunity to comment on this document. The objective of our review was to identify any potential impacts to off-site emergency preparedness and response. This review focused on those changes that have the potential to affect the implementation of the Illinois Plan for Radiological Accidents (IPRA) and in turn, the health and safety of the public.

Based upon our review of this document and the proposed changes contained therein, I see no basis for denial of approval. IEMA therefore concurs and recommends approval of the above LAR.
