Palisades Plant By 1 etter dated Apri 1 14, 1983 and September 13, 1983 you submitted*.
responses to our Generic Letter No. 82-33 to provide detailed description of how the Palisades Plant conformed to Regulatory Guide 1.97.
Based on our review of these submittals, we conclude that you have provided an explicit commitment to conformance to R.G. 1.97 with the exception of those items which you have identified.
Our contractor, EG&G Idaho, Inc., has written an interim report which is enclosed.
The report indicates that the exceptions you have taken to some
- items of R.G. 1.97 appear acceptable~, However, there are some items for which adequate justification had not been provided and these have been identified in the report as unjustified exceptions.
Please respond to the open items identified in the conclusions section of**
the enclosed report within 90 days of your receipt of this letter.
You should also provide any other comments regarding any incorrect assumptions*
or commitments which yoti" believe are beyond the intent of your prev.ious responses.
