OF CHANGES AND ANALYSIS FOR REVISION 49 OF PPM 13.1.1 CLASSIFYING THE EMERGENCY, REVISION 33 OF PPM 13.1.1A CLASSIFYING THE EMERGENCY - TECHNICAL BASES, REVISION 38 OF PPM 13.8.1 EMERGENCY DOSE PROJECTION SYSTEM OPERATIONS, AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE DATA SYSTEM
Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed is the summary of changes for the following EPlan Implementing Procedures (EPIP) which were implemented on January 17, 2018:
Revision 49 of PPM 13.1.1 Classifying The Emergency Revision 33 of PPM 13.1.1A Classifying The Emergency - Technical Bases Revision 38 of PPM 13.8.1 Emergency Dose Projection System Operations Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) data point update.
The changes to these EPIPs have been evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 72.44(f). The EPIPs, as revised, continue to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix E.
One ERDS data point for the Reactor Building Process Radiation Monitoring has been replaced with a new data point and units updated from counts per second (cps) to Ci/cc. ERDS continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section VI.3.
The Enclosure contains a summary of changes. Each change was evaluated in accordance with the stations 10 CFR 50.54(q) evaluation process. These changes do not create a reduction in effectiveness of the approved EPlan and listed EPIPs.
