• PALISADES PLANT - DECAY HEAT REMOVAL CAPABILITY - MULTIPLANT ACTION NUMBER B-57 NRC letter dated June 26, 1984, "Decay Heat Removal Capability - Multiplant Action Number B-57," requests Consumers Power Company to justify or revise the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications such that they meet the intent of the Combustion Engineering Standard Technical Specifications regarding decay heat removal capabilities.

We have reviewed the NRC comments and concluded that some changes to the Palisades Technical Specifications may be warranted.

Preparation of the proposed changes, along with justification for specifications not being altered, shall be completed and submitted to the NRC by the end of December 1984.
