- Area Code 517 788-0550 April 9, 1980 Mr James G Keppler Office of Inspection and Enforcement Region III US Nuclear Regulatory Commission 799 Roosevelt Road Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT - RESPONSE FOR ITEM 2 OF IE BULLETIN 79-23 IE Bulletin 79-23 dated September 12, 1979, potential diesel generator exciter failure, requested Consumers Power Company to respond to two items.
Consumers Power addressed Item 1 in our November 5, 1979 letter as well as committed to testing both diesels at a later date.
Both diesel generators have completed a 24-hour continuous full load rating test.
The test results are available at the Palisades Plant.
- This letter fulfills our commitments under IE Bulletin 79-23.
