Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Quality Assurance Program We have received the above referenced letters that transmitted twenty-five changes to the Nine Mile Point Unit 2 Quality Assurance Program description in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(f).

These changes included a reorganization to support completion of construction as well as initiation of startup

tests, Also included were several minor changes to provide clarification of the program.

The Region I staff has reviewed the changes and found them to be acceptable as they do not reduce the commitments of your previously approved Quality Assurance Program.

The effectiveness of your QA Program implementation will continue to be the subject of routine regional inspections.
