In the Matter of Tennessee Valley Authority Docket No. 50-260 BROGANS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) UNIT 2 COMPLETION OF CABLE TRAY SUPPORT MODIFICATIONS
Reference:
NRC's transmittal of the Safety Evaluation Concerning the Interim Acceptance Evaluation of Seismic Qualification of Cable Tray/Supports, dated February 5, 1987 The referenced safety evaluation concluded that the interim acceptance criteria proposed for the Unit 2 cable tray/supports was acceptable for interim operation.
However, prior to restart, TVA, "should provide confirmation of the completion of the 14 modifications. on, the cable, tray/supports and verify that they meet the interim acceptance criteri'a after the modifications."
In accordance with the above condition, a review of the restart modifications has been performed.
The required pre-restart modifications for the cable tray supports have presently been completed.
Accordingly, the Unit 2 cable tray/supports are in compliance with the approved interim acceptance
- criteria, This confirmation serves to complete the action identified in the referenced safety evaluation.
