RECENT ALLEGATION - DOCKET NOS. 50-259, 50-260, AND 50-296 This letter transmits a recent allegation pertaining to TVA's nuclear program.
This allegation is in addition to those most recently transmitted to you by our letter dated March 31, 1987.
The ultimate resolution of the allegation appears to be a licensee responsibility.
A summary of the allegation is described in the enclosure to this letter.
The enclosed information is being supplied in confidence and is not being placed in the public document room.
Appropriate safeguards should be applied to the enclosed information in view of its unsubstantiated nature in order to avoid a possible unwarranted invasion of privacy.
- However, should your review bring into question a potential safety
- issue, we expect that the issue will be promptly brought to our attention.
To assure confidentiality of the information within the NRC, please mark your response as containing information Exempt from Disclosure Under 10 CFR 2.790a(6)(7).
