This meeting
concerned
activities authorized

Ferry
facilities.
The meeting
concerned
cable pulling issues identified during an
NRC
resident inspection.
The
subjects
discussed
are
detailed
in 'the
enclosed
inspection
report.
As--
discussed
in the meeting,
TVA committed to provide
a docketed
submittal describ-
ing
how safety-related
cable that was pulled using the
TVA G3 and
G4 Specifica-
tions will be evaluated/qualified
and describing
TVA's current position
on cable
pulling methodology at Browns Ferry.
It is our opinion that this meeting
was beneficial
and
has provided for a better
understanding
of inspection findings and enforcement
issues.
In accordance
with
Section
2.790 of NRC's
"Rules of Practice,"
Part 2, Title 10,
Code of Federal
Regulations,
a
copy of this letter
and
the enclosure will be placed
in NRC's
