50-259 50-260 50-296 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Parts 50.59 and 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3 (enclosure 1).
The enclosed specifications are a revision to those submitted by L. M. Mills's letter to H. R. Denton dated September 27, 1984 (TVA BFNP TS 201) regarding the TVA organization.
These specifications
- are, therefore, submitted as a supplement to TS 201.
Description and
,justification are provided in enclosure 2.
The enclosed specifications address the NRC staff's comments provided in D. B. Vassallo's letter to H.
G. Parris dated June 27, 1985.
Enclosure 1
consists of the complete section 6, Administrative Controls, using, Standard Technical Specification format.
Included are revised pages which reference section 6.
The enclosed supercedes all section 6 specifications submitted in TS 201.
Unless replaced by the enclosed all other specifications from TS 201 are still needed.
Revisions to Browns Ferry Appendix B Technical Specifications, Section 5, Administrative Controls, will be submitted in the near future.
These specifications will relieve some of the administrative burden on the Plant Operation Review Committee.
Therefore, approval of these enclosed'pecifications is needed urgently.
These specifications, should be made effective on issuance.
F In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(a)(1) the determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided as enclosure 3.
