We have reviewed your letter of June 29, 1981 requesting schedules for submittal of additional information needed by the staff to complete their review.
Attached is the status of each item and the scheduled submittal date.
Please note that in some cases we have received no requests for additional information and are unaware of the specific concerns of the staff.

Environmental alification - These records are available for NRC audit at any time.
We anticipate that we will reach the 60X qualified point by November 1, 1981.

Emer enc Plans - PPGL's plans have been submitted.
As of now, we are unaware of any outstanding requests for additional information.

Emer enc Facilities With the exception of the upgraded meteorological,
- system, PP&L s description of the emergency facilities is contained in Appendix, I of the Susquehanna Emergency Plan.
To date, we have received no request for additional information of these facilities.
As stated in our letter, PLA-849, the FSAR will by revised in mid-September to include the functional description of the upgraded meteorological system.

Emer enc Plan Drill PPSL will participate in an emergency plan drill.

The drill should be scheduled as soon as possible after the communications equipment and emergency facilities ar available and after the plans have been reviewed and approved.
We suggest March 17, 1982 as the appropriate date.

IE Bulletin 79"27 Our response to this bulletin is currently scheduled for August 1, 1981.

Recirc Pump Seal Coolin - The recirculation pump seals are cooled by flow from the Reactor Building Closed Cooling Water (RBCCW) System and from the Control Rod Drive (CRD) System.
The RBCCW pumps automatically receive emergency power (see FSAR subsection'9~2 2,.2).
The CRD pumps can by connected to emergency power (see FSAR subsection 8.3).

ass Ca abilit - PPSL is performing a transient analysis to demonstrate the capability of the plant.,
This analysis is scheduled to be completed August 1, 1981.

Common Reference Level In our letter, PLA-797, we identified the indicator and recorder that did not utilize the common reference level.
We also described our proposal to provide the operator with complete information.
We have received no request for additional information or acceptance of our proposal.
9.
0 erator Re uglification Pro rsm In our TMI submittal, PLA-659, we included a Nuclear Department Instruction describing our Requalification Program.
We have received no questions on this material.
This information will eventually be incorporated into Chapter 13 of the FSAR.
10.
Remote Shutdown Panel The design basis for the remote shutdown panel is specified in the FSAR.
In several recent discussions, the staff indicated they would ask for clarifications regarding the capability of the plant for remote shutdown.
To date, we have not received the specifics of the clarifications desired by the staff.
