SJ..t-;qf I I I Is-/ 2017 Because of earthquake vulnerability and other risks, it is irresponsible to use temporary thin canisters for nuclear waste storage instead of thick casks used by other countries. The consequences of your decision could be deadly for thousands of people. Of course the best plan would be to remove the waste altogether. Since that is not an option at this time, please use the thicker safer units. The thin canisters are designed to last 20 years, but there is no guarantee that the nuclear waste will be removed by then.
I urge you to use the thick casks.
