The proposed amendment does not involve a significant increase in the probability or consequences of an accident previously evaluated.
These changes involve only procedural changes in the handling of liquid effluents and do not affect any accidents previously evaluated.
The method of release and related monitoring instruments are not involved in the initiation or mitigation of any FSAR Chapter 15 accidents.

The proposed amendment does not create the possibility of a new or different kind of accident from any accident previously evaluated.
These changes involve only procedural changes in the handling of liquid effluents, and changing the method of release would not introduce a new or different kind of accident.
3.
The proposed amendment does not involve a significant reduction in the margin of safety.
The proposed revision allowing continuous releases from the Secondary Waste System is consistent with other continuous releases currently allowed such as the Normal Service Water System.
The fluids to be continuously released are the same fluids which are presently being released in the batch mode and as such do not involve a significant reduction in the margin of safety.
ADMINISTRATIVEINFORMATION The revised SHNPP Technical Specification pages are provided in Enclosure
- 1. The Company has evaluated this request in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR170.12 and determined that a license amendment application fee is required.
A check for $ 150 is enclosed in payment of this fee.
