Carolina Power
& Light Company (CP&L) hereby submits additional information concerning condenser discharge during startup (hogging) operations.
This information is in response to Safety Evaluation Report (SER)
Open Item No.
9 from the Meteorology and Effluent Treatment Branch.
In order to resolve this item, CP&L commits to not discharge via vent line 7AE12-19-1 through valve 7AE-B9-1 unless the plant has been shutdown for at least thirty days If you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience.
