Dear Mr. Denton:
Carol1na Power 6 Light Company (CPGL) hereby documents that Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP) will conform to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulat1ons, Part 50, Append1x G, paragraph IV.A.2 as amended on May 27, 1983.
The present pressure-temperature curves for the reactor vessels will be revised if necessary in accordance with the aformentioned new rule and will be submitted in"a future amendment.
This commitment should resolve the SHNPP Draft Safety Evaluation Report Open Item 41.
In accordance with Generic Letter No. 82-14, CP6L herewith transmits one original and forty copies of this letter.
