result of a May 10, 1983 telephone conversation with the Staff, one Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant Draft Safety Evaluation Report (DSER) Open Item (CP&L Open Item No.
168) is considered closed.
The concern presented in this Open Item was addressed in our response to the Final Safety Analysis Report Safety Review Question 471.21, submitted to the Staff on November 15, 1982.
The Staff acknowledged receipt of the November 15, 1982 letter.
In accordance with Generic Letter No. 82-14, CP&L hereby transmits one original and forty copies of this letter.
