Carolina Power
& Light Company hereby submits five copies of the Reactor Vessel Preservice Inspection
- Program, Revision 2.
This supercedes the original inspection program transmitted by the referenced letter.
Our position statement for RG 1.150 given in the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant FSAR Section 1.8 will be revised to reflect revision 2 to the inspection program in a future amendment.
Examinations of the reactor vessel welds began on January 15, 1983.
Mr. G. Maxwell, Mr. J. Blake, and Mr. W.
KLiensorge of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission were notified of this start date in December, 1982.
