Dear Mr. Denton:
On June 2,, 1981, Carolina Power
& Light'ompany (CP&L) submitted a letter informing you of CP&L's revised Corporate Quality Assurance Program as related to the information currently existing in Section 1.8 of the PSAR.,
The intent of this letter is to inform you that as a result of recent changes in the division of responsibilities between the CP&L'arris Site Management Section and the CP&L'ngineering
& Construction Quality Assurance/
Quality'ontrol Section, the'C inspection responsibilities'detailed in Item 17 of CP&L's June 2, 1981, letter have been changed to now require the Harris Site Management Section to be responsible for inspection of concrete repairs.
CP&L's Engineering
& Construction Quality Assurance/
Quality, Control Section will monitor this activity'.
Also, CP&L's Engineering
& Construction Quality'Assurance/Quality'ontrol Section will now be respon-sible for QC inspection of assembly/disassembly of, ASME Section III Code Class 1, 2 and 3 'pressure boundary items.
