Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

As requested by IE Bulletin 80-16, Carolina Power 6 Light Company (CP&L) has reviewed the design of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP) to determine if Rosemount Inc. Model 1151 or 1152 series A or D pressure transmitters are planned for use. That review has determined that none of the subject pressure transmitters are installed or planned for use in safety-related functions at the SHNPP.

If you have any questions on this subject, please contact our staff. CPSL plans no further response to this bulletin.
