Actual Measurements on Exis tin 500 'kV Lines The proposed 500 kV structure for the Harris-Harnett Line is a triangular configuration with three 1590 MCM 45/7 ACSR conductors per phase.
The sub-conductors are 18 inches apart.
The center phase is 29.8 feet above the two outside phases.
The outside phases are 42.4 feet apart.
This design is not yet in service; therefore, actual field measurements are not available.
Please advise us if you have any further questions concerning the proposed 'Harris-Harnett 500 kV line.
