Dear Mr. O'Reilly,

In response to your letter dated April 17, 1979, Carolina Power 6

Light Company has investigated the use of GE type AK-2 circuit breakers in safety-related systems at the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP).

The results of the investigation indicate that there are no GE type AK-2 circuit breakers planned for use in safety-related systems at SHNPP.

Therefore, CPSL plans no further action with regard to your letter.
