During a site audit of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant construction activities on October 27, 1978,.Messrs.
R;. D. Biadley and C. E. Murphy of the NRC were notified by Carolina Power 6 Light Company of a potential reportable item concerning containment wat:erproofing membrane leakage.
Please be informed that as of this date, Carolina Power 6 Light Company has not completed its evaluation of this matter as related to reportability under the provisions of 10CPR50.55(e).
It is anticipated that this evalua-.
tion willbe completed by December 1, 1978, at: which time the NRC willbe notified of our decision.
