50-400 LICENSE NO. NPF-63 AMENDED ANNUAL OPERATING REPORT Gentlemen:
In accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.2 for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.
1, Carolina Power and Light Company submitted the annual operating report for 1991 to the NRC on February 24, 1992.
This amended report is being submitted due to the identification of an error in the February 24, 1992 report.
The report mistakenly stated that there were no challenges to the primary power operated relief valves (PORVs) during 1991.
One event did occur as documented in this amended report.
The information on man-rem exposures and primary coolant iodine spikes remain unchanged from that stated in our previous submittal.
We regret any inconvenience this error may have caused.
