FLOW MEASUREMENT CALIBRATION Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to provide supplemental information to facilitate the NRC's review of a Request for License Amendment submitted by Carolina Power
& Light Company (CP&L) for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP) on December 16, 1991.
The proposed amendment would revise Technical Specification 4.2.3.5 concerning the calibration of measurement equipment.
Following CP&L's December 16, 1991 submittal, the NRC Project Manager requested that CP6L provide copies of the Westinghouse WCAP (Proprietary and Non-Proprietary versions) that was referenced in the Request for License Amendment.
On January 29,
- 1992, CP6L submitted Westinghouse WCAPs 12340 and 12341 as well as supporting documentation and appropriate not:ices.
However, that submittal was not signed under oath and affirmation.
At the NRC's request, this letter serves to provide such declaration.
