Report for the offsite portion of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant Emergency Exercise of September 14, 1989.
As described in the enclosure, there were no deficiencies or areas requiring corrective actions
- however, several items were noted for improvement.
Ve encourage you tc assist the appropriate organizations in resolving the improvement items identified by FERA.
Resolution of these items should be completed prior to the next full-scale emergency preparedness exercise.
Me also encourage you to work closely with the state and counties in the development of a
scenario for the next full-scale exercise that will effectively test the areas in which the above items were disclosed.
