SUBJECT:
REACTOR OPERATOR LICENSING REEXAMINATION In a telephone conversation between Mr. John Boska,
- Manager, License Training, and Mr.
Bob Holbrook, NRC Region II Operator Licensinq Section, arrangements were made for administration of the operator reexamination at the Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant.
The walkthrouqh examination is scheduled for the week of April 16, 1990, at the Shearon Harris simulation facility.
In order for us to meet the above schedule, it'ill be necessary for the facility to furnish any changes to the information that was submitted for the August 21, 1989, initial license examination by February 15, 1990.
Any delay in receivinq
- approved, properly bound and indexed reference material, or the submittal of inadequate or incomplete reference material will result in the examinations being rescheduled.
Mr. Boska has been advised of our reference material requirements and the examiners'ames and addresses where each set is to be mailed.
All completed reactor operator and senior reactor operator license application information should be submitted at least 30 days before the first examination dates so that we will be able to revie'w the training and experience of the candidates, process the medical certifications, and prepare final examiner assiqnments after candidate eliqibility has been determined.
This request is covered by Office of Manaaement and Budget Clearance Number 3150-0101 which expires May 31, 1992.
