SHEARON HARRIS REQUALIFICATION EXAMINATION REPORT 400/OL-89-02 The NRC administered examinations during the weeks of October 3 and October 9, 1989, to employees of your company who currently hold licenses to operate the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant.
At the conclusion of the site visit, preliminary findings were discussed with those members of your staff identified in the Examination Report, Enclosure l.
A table summarizing the examination results for each examined individual is provided in Enclosure 2.
Copies of the written examinations and answer keys are included in this report as Enclosure 3.
requalification program evaluation report is included as Enclosure 4.
This evaluation report finds that the Shearon Harris requalification program remains satisfactory.
Your attention is invited to information in the examination and evaluation reports which describe our concerns over operator performance and exam administration.
A Simulator Fidelity Report is provided in this report as Enclosure 5.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and Enclosures I, 3, 4,
and 5 will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
Enclosure 2 is exempt from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(a) and will not be sent to the Public Document Room.
