& Light Company (CP&L) hereby requests additional clarification concerning NRC review and approval of changes to the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant Inservice Testing (IST) Program.
By letter dated September 29,
- 1988, the NRC provided additional information concerning IST program changes which require NRC review and approval prior to implementation.
Carolina Power
& Light Company requests clarification of the staff's position on those IST Program changes which do not involve relief from ASME Code requirements or changes to previously granted relief.
These non-relief related changes would include administrat:ive changes and additions or deletions of components to the IST Program.
