Dear Mr. Chairman:
I have been contacted by the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Benson, North Carolina, which is in my congressional district.
The Commissioners have recently passed a resolution in support of the licensing of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant-near Raleigh.
-The Board feels that this facility will greatly benefit Benson, and the surrounding area with an adequate and dependable supply of electricity for the future, and therefore, I wanted to communicate this position of support to the Commission for your consideration.
