Dear Sr. Ioenton,
I live close to the,',Ghearon-Harris Nuclear Power plant.
After reviewing CP8oL's record, and talking to people who worked there, I am scared beyond-words.
jx Please do not grant CP8cI exemption from their full scale~emergency evacuation practice before opening~this plant.
And please keep the evacuation plan requirements at a 10 mile radius, at the very least.
Me need. more time to prepare ourselves for the opening of the Harris Plant.
The public needs to be informed about potential dangers, accidents and costs of nuclear energy.
At this point it seems highly unlikely that
- CPUT, will consent to converting this. plant.
I feel we are making an inhumane decision in allowing the ~propagation of nuclear energy and waste.
This is a slow (and sometimes not so slow) suicide of the Earth and her people.
For all of us who love our Nother Earth, fresh air, clean water, and living trees, we pray that the Great Spigot will guide you, and all of~ you in policy making positions.
Good luck.
Namaste.
