In response to 'NRC letter dated April 21, 1983, Carolina Power 5 Light Company (CP&L) hereby submits design documents listed in Attachment 1

for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant (SHNPP).

The design documents (Attachment 2) were requested by the Mechanical Engineering Branch as a result of a meeting held February 1-3, 1983.
