I)ecting Between NRC and Westinghouse on Reactor Trip Breaker Testing During recent OL reviews, NRC staff has raised the concern that-shunt."trip':

coils for the reactor trip breakers should be tested independently of the undervoltage trip coils.

Westinghouse has opposed the staff's position on trip breaker testing and has requested a meeting to appeal the stiff's position.

A meeting with Westinghouse will be held at 10:00 AIh on January 26, 1983 in P-114.

The testing of reactor trip breakers is an open issue for the following NTOL reviews:
