Response
to NRC Request for Additional Information on Conformance With Re ulator Guide 1.97 Revision 3 In an NRC letter dated March 4, l 985, you provided FPL with an interim report on Turkey Point's conformance with Regulatory Guide
'I.97.
Your evaluation identified a number of open items requiring additional information.
In accordance with yoyr request, Attachment I
provides our response to the open items identified in The evaluation.
Revision I of the Regulatory Guide l.97 reports submitted in January l984 for Units 3 and 4 are included in Attachments 2 and 3. The reports have been revised to differentiate between instruments used for the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) and instruments used to support the various supplemental CRT displays for the Safety Assessment System (SAS).
In addition, the reports provide a general update of the parameter listing sheets, and also update the installation schedules for SPDS and Regulatory Guide l,97 implementation.
FPL is currently reviewing the scope of work for the remainder of SAS.
A schedule for implementation will be provided when that evaluation is complete.
