3 By letter dated January 26, 1984, you submitted your evaluation report in relation to conformance with Regulatory Guide,(RG) 1.97, Rev.

This submittal was in response to Generic Letter No. 82-33, Supplement 1 to NUREG-0737, dated December 17, 1982.
We are in the process of reviewing your submittal for conformance to R.G.
1.97 and the justifications provided for exceptions from the guidance provided in the R.G.
We are being assisted in our review by Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL).
INEL has developed an interim report identifying the acceptable portions of your submittal including the justifications provided for deviations from R.G.
1.97 and also those unacceptable portions of your submittal.
We have enclosed the interim report for your assessment and request that you respond to the open items within 45 days from receipt of this letter in order to'eet our current review schedule.
We also request that you provide any other comments if the interim report includes any incorrect assumptions or reflects a commitment beyond the intent of your response.
