FPImlL TOPICAL QA PROGRAM UPDATE p!l~
Your letter to this office dated June 8,
- 1984, (L-84 151) transmitted the FPIIL Topical Quality Assurance Report (FPL-NQA-100A), Revzsion 7, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(a).
This report revised the current accepted quality assurance program description for Turkey Point and St. Lucie (Docket Nos.
50-250, 50-251, 50-335, and 50-389).
Additional clarifying information was submitted in your letter dated September 13,
- 1984, (L-84-241) in response to questions transmitted in a letter from this office dated August 8, 1984.
Based on a telephone conversation between Mr. J.
B, Harper and Mr. G. A. Belisle on October 19, 1984, it is our understanding that the response to question 4 has been amended to rad as follows:
Appendix A Figure l-l has been revised to reflect the correct new titles.
Paragraph 1.2.3.2 has been revised to delete the Assistant Manager of QA-Turkey Point and Paragraph 1.2.3.2.c has been added to describe the duties of the Superintendent of QA-Turkey Point.
- Further, Appendix A and Paragraph 1.2.3.2 have been revised to show the correct titles and reporting relationships.
Our review of this information indicates that your topical QA program continues to satisfy 10 CFR 50 Appendix B requirements and is therefore acceptable.
We appreciate your timely submittal of the information required by 10 CFR 50.54(a).
