SUBJECT:

MEETINGS ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT This letter is to confirm a telephone conversation with Mr.

Ron Stevens of your staff concerning meetings with your staff to discuss the Environmental gualification of Electrical Equipment.

The meetings are scheduled to extend over a two day period and cover both your Turkey Point and St. Lucie sites.

The purpose of the meetings is to discuss the disposition of the remaining open items contained in the Franklin Research Center's Technical Evaluation Reports that were transmitted to you earlier.

The scheduled meeting dates are February 8-9, 1984.

Only Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 and St. Lucie Plant Unit No.

1 will be discussed at these meetings.

It is requested. that you advise the staff of the order in which you desire to discuss the three units involved.

A verbal response to this request to D. Sells, the St. Lucie Project Manager, will be satisfactory.

A meeting notice will be issued in the near future.
