50-250 and 50-251 Proposed License Amendment Fire Hoses In accordance with 10 CFR 50.30, Florida Power and Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-31 and DPR-41.
The purpose of this amendment is to address operabi lity requirements of fire hose stations in the vicinity of safety related equipment as discussed in our letter to Mr. Var ga (L-81-472) dated November 6, 1981.
Our letter was 'in response to Mr. Varga's letter dated September 17, 1981.
The proposed amendment is described below and shown on the accompanying Technical Specitication pages bearing tne date of this letter in the lower right hand corner.

Technical Specification 3.14.3.a is changed to require hose stations to be operable or for equivalent capacity hoses to be run to the inoperable location within 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br /> of finding an inoperable hose station.
