-c c ENCLOSURE RE(VEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TURKEY POINT 3 5 4 1.

For what specific reason or reasons are you redefining the REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM PRESSURE BOUNDRY INTEGRITY?

2.

Explain why the RCS temperature of 380'F is used to isolate the high head SI pumps by closing MOV-843A, MOV-843B and MOV-869.

3.

Explain why the RCS temperature of 275'F is used to initiate the pressurizer power operated relief valves at the low setpoint range.

The March 14, 1980 SER required the low setpoint range to be initiated at an RCS temperature of 300'F.

4.

Are there any flow lines connecting between h10V's 866B, 866A and valve 869 that 'are not indicated on P&ID's that could cause an overpressurization event?

5.

l!hat is the purpose of the two flow lines (one from the accumulator test

line, and one to accumulator makeup header) between MOV's 866B, 866A and 869?

6.

Provide diagrams which point out the OMS pressurizer relief valves and the pressurizer relief valve isolation valves.

7.

Please investigate the apparent

omission, in proposed Section 3.15, of a bases for OPM operations when RCS temperatures are at or below 380'F.

(See proposed Technical Specification 3.15.1).

Correct the proposed bases and/or the proposed Technical Specifications as appropriate.
