TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE REQUEST TO INCREASE UNIT 2 RATED THERMAL POWER AND RELATED CHANGES FOR UNIT 1 REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RESPONSE This letter and attachments constitute a
response to the January 8,
1997, request for additional information concerning our July 11,
- 1996, submittal (AEP:NRC:1223) requesting a
5% thermal power uprate on unit 2.
Attachment 1 contains our response to the request for additional information regarding issues raised by Framatome Technologies Incorporated.
Our response was prepared by Westinghouse Corporation and is proprietary class 2C.
Accordingly, we request the proprietary Westinghouse document be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a)(4).
Attachment 2
contains the Westinghouse application for withholding proprietary information from public disclosure.
In compliance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b) (1), copies of this letter and attachments will be transmitted to Mr. J.
R. Padgett of the Michigan Public Service Commission, and to the Michigan Department of Public Health.
