A Reactor trip occurred March 11 at 1057 as a result of a Main Feedwater regulating valve controller failure.

Following the trip, elective maintenance was conducted on the Circulating Water system to replace a Circulating Water pump discharge shut-off valve. The unit was paralleled to the grid on March 17 at 1000.

The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100% RTP There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.

Gross electrical generation for the month of March was 636280 MWh.

DETAILS 03-11-97 1057 Reactor trip as a result of a Main Feedwater regulating valve controller failure.

A controller failure caused the feedwater regulating valve to close resulting in the trip. The unit was paralleled to the grid the 031897 at 0526 following elective Circulating Water system maintenance to replace Circulating Water pump
