Only minor adjustments to reactor power were experienced as a result of Main Turbine control valve testing and Main Transformer operating limitations The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 94% RTP.

There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.

Gross electrical generation for the month of December was 753100 MWH.

DETAILS 12-13-96 2010 Commenced power reduction to facilitate Main Turbine control valve testing.

2300 Reactor power stabilized at 92% RTP.

2320 Commenced testing.

12-14-96 0200 Completed testing. Commenced power ascension.

0428 Reactor power stabilized at 93.7% RTP.

1030 Commenced power ascension to reduce Main Transformer operating limit margin.
