HIGHLIGHTS*
The unit entered this reporting period in Mode 1 at 98%
RTP ascending to 100%
RTP following a power reduction to 93%
RTP for Main Transformer thermal limitations.
Reactor power was decreased to 92%
RTP July 5 and July 27 to facilitate Main Turbine control valve testing.
Reactor power was decreased to 58%
RTP July 13 at 0827 to remove the East Main Feed Pump from service to facilitate condenser leak checks.
Reactor power was stabilized at 100%
RTP July 14 at 0550.
Reactor power was decreased on four separate occasions to no less than 88.5%
RTP due to Main Transformer thermal limitations as a result of increasing ambient temperature conditions.
The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 88.5%
RTP.
There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.
Gross electrical generation for the month of July was 754470 MWH.
