MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES" FEBRUARY 1996 HIGHLIGHTS The unit entered this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100% RTP.

Reactor power was decreased to 92%

RTP February 17, 1996 at 0850 to conduct Main Turbine control valve testing.

Reactor power was stabilized at 100% February 17, 1996 at 1130.

The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100%

RTP.

There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.

Gross electrical generation for the month of February was 748490 MWH.
