Cook Nuclear Plant containment spray additive system.

We find that the current Technical Specification is inadequate and should be revised.

A Safety Evaluation is enclosed which provides an acceptable way to establish a new Technical Specification and surveillance requirement for the spray additive system.

It is requested that you provide revised Technical Specifications as may be appropriate for your plant.

If you have any questions on this matter, please let us know.

You should provide a schedule within 30 days for your submittal.
