Dear Mr. Dolan:

In our review of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company

( IMEC) letters regarding seismic qualification of electrical switchgear, we have identified additional information which we will need to complete the review.

In the July 8, 1983 letter, the statement was made that the DA Mercoid switches were being replaced by the DAW type.

Please provide a status of the replacement, the schedule for completion of the replacement, and a copy of the Acton Lab test report on the DAW type.

In the letter dated December 18,

1979, IMEC submitted a test report of the Agastat relays.

Please provide documentation on the functionality testing of these relays during the seismic tests.

We have reviewed the GE report in the March 28, 1980 letter and need verification that the referenced relays are those in the switchgear components.
