B-63 RE: ORDER APPROVING DIRECT TRANSFER OF RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE AND INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION GENERAL LICENSE AND CONFORMING AMENDMENT (CAC NO. MG0014; EPID L-2017-LLM-0004)
Dear Mr. Helker:
By order dated November 7, 2017 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML17240A069), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved the direct transfer of the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant (FitzPatrick)
Renewed Facility Operating License and the generally licensed FitzPatrick Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation from Exelon Generation Company, LLC to Exelon FitzPatrick, LLC.
By letter dated November 30, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17313A077), the NRC issued Amendment No. 317 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, which modified the FitzPatrick license to reflect the transfer.
The enclosure to this letter contains three signed originals of Amendment No. 12 to Indemnity Agreement No. B-63, which is required in connection with the transfer of the FitzPatrick license.
Please sign one original and coordinate the signature of all appropriate parties and return it to the NRCs Document Control Desk as proof of acceptance. Please coordinate the signatures of the other two originals and keep them for your records.
