REFUELING MACHINE LIMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION

'.9.6 The refueling machine shall be used for movement of fuel assemblies and shall be OPERABLE with:

a.

A minimum capacity of 3590 pounds and an overload cut off limit of less than or equal to 1600+ounds for the refueling machine.

APPLICABILITY: During movement of fuel assemblies within the refueling cavity.

ACTION:

With the above requirements for the refueling machine not satisfied; suspend use of the refueling machine from operations involving the movement of fuel assemblies.

SURVEILLANCE RE UIREMENTS 4.9.6.1 The refueling machine used for movement of fuel assemblies shall be demonstrated OPERABLE within 72 hours8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> prior to the start of'uch operations by performing a load test of at least 3590 pounds and demonstrating an automatic load cut off when the refueling machine load exceeds 160&pounds.
